Did you know that the UK State Pension age is changing?
Currently, it is 65 for men and before 6th April 2010 it was 60 for women.
However, under provisions within the Pensions Act 2011, pension ages will equalise at 65 for men and women by November 2018 and then increase to to 66 for both by October 2020.
Following on from that, by April 2028, it will increase to 67.
The government has also announced that it is likely to increase to 68 by 2030 and 69 by 2040, although concrete details of these last changes have yet to be confirmed.
